Registration will occur from 5-7pm on Thursday, August 11 (dinner will be served at 7pm, please arrive by then). The event will close around 2pm on Sunday, August 14th.

Activities

Every morning will be set aside for outdoor recreation. We encourage you to sign up for our guided activities which will include rock climbing in Estes Park on Friday morning and hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park on Saturday. There is limited space for these events. Trying to keep costs low? Your retreat ticket already includes morning yoga, group hikes, and bonus workshops, so there’s plenty to do whether you participate in a guided activity or not!

LOCATION

Join us outside of Jamestown, Colorado at the Cal-wood education center! Cal-wood’s remote and breathtaking setting combined with cozy accommodations and delicious food creates the perfect retreat atmosphere. Come and enjoy the lack of distractions and abundance of natural inspiration. Not far from your padded bunks (or tent camping) are showers, real bathrooms, and plenty of spots to hang a hammock.

Please note: Cal-wood is an active educational center and we may be sharing the 1200 acre property with other groups. It’s unlikely that you’ll see these groups throughout the weekend.

Cancelation Policy

We are not able to refund tickets to Outwild. If we have to cancel an event due to COVID-19 outbreaks or natural disasters we will refund tickets minus a small processing fee. We do accept ticket transfers.

Food

Dinner will be served on Thursday. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served on Friday and Saturday. Breakfast and lunch will be served on Sunday. We plan to host a variety of delicious vegetarian meals and will have options for gluten-free and vegan eaters. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, and/or are concerned about meals please contact us via email and we’ll work out a solution. No personal camp stoves on the premises please!

accomModations

Each cabin will sleep 6 Outwilders. Participants will need to bring their own sleeping bag and pillow. If you have a request for people you'd like to bunk with, you can let us know in the post-checkout survey. The majority of our cabins will be gender-neutral, however, we will have a few gender-specific tents for those of you who are interested in this option. If so, please indicate accordingly in your post-checkout survey.

Personal Tent: You may bring your own tent if you prefer to do so. We will have a designated camping area onsite.

Transportation

You can purchase a seat in our shuttle van from Denver International Airport on Thursday evening and back to the airport on Sunday afternoon (limited spaces available). Thursday/Sunday shuttle trips are not sold separately. If you purchase a shuttle ticket, please plan your flights accordingly so as not to leave other group members waiting.

If the shuttle times do not work with your travel schedule please coordinate your own transportation. There will be parking available onsite and we will email ticket holders with information on how to coordinate carpooling as well.
