Outwild in the Tetons
August 17-20, 2023 | Victor, IDaho
A co-ed “mini” Flagship experience for folks looking to create more outdoor, value-driven lifestyles. What does “mini” mean you ask? This event will be more intimate than our typical flagship experience with 45 participants instead of 75-100.
Outwild is a 3-day retreat for individuals looking to create more outdoor, value-driven lifestyles. Our retreat weekends are the perfect combination of outdoor recreation, life design, and community. During activities, we’ll focus on moving our bodies and going outside our comfort zone. During workshops, we’ll think about our lives back at home and brainstorm ways to feel more alive and aligned with our values. During meals, we’ll relax and connect, finding joy in the small and big conversations that happen when we spend the day in the sunshine away from our screens and routines. Come prepared for life-altering workshops, inspirational keynotes from industry leaders, and some rad outdoor adventures in the mountains.
We welcome ALL humans to Outwild events and value diversity in outdoor skill level, age (our attendees range from 21-60+), race, ethnicity, national origin, range of abilities, sexual orientation, gender identity, financial means, education, religious beliefs, and political perspective.
Note: You must be 21 years of age or older to attend this event.

Food and Beverage
It wouldn’t be a retreat experience without incredible food, which is why our talented friends at Path & Provisions will be catering the entire weekend! We’ll be providing locally-sourced, organic, vegetarian meals (with vegan and gluten-free options). There will also be ample snacks, tea and coffee. Please include any additional dietary restrictions in your survey at ticket checkout. Dinner will be served on Thursday. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served on Friday and Saturday. Breakfast and lunch (or brunch) will be served on Sunday.
Guided activities
Via Ferrata: Via Ferrata, translated as "iron way," dates back to WWI. Italian soldiers built via ferratas to safely traverse mountain passes. In this activity, climbers are secured to cables to limit the risk typically associated with unprotected scrambling and climbing. The routes also have aids, such as iron rungs, pegs, carved steps, and suspended bridges. The Via Ferrata at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) is a world-class climbing arena. There are routes varying in difficulty from introductory to more steep and exposed. They all can include a breathtaking experience crossing the 120-foot suspension bridge. Be ready to experience big exposure and harder moves, all while under the safety of the expertly installed cable system and a guide.
Rafting: *Rafting is not included in your ticket but can be purchased as an add on at checkout.
Our classic Snake River whitewater rafting trip is 8 miles of beautiful scenery and whitewater thrills. Our experienced and certified guides will help you learn how to paddle, hoot, and holler your way down rapids like The Big Kahuna and Lunch Counter. Snake River is classified as a Class II. This means our stretch of river is intermediate rating and great for all rafters!
