Outwild Hub and membership FAQ’s

  • How are the Hub and Membership different?

    • The Hub is a free community platform, where you can connect with other like-minded individuals and participate in forums covering a wide range of outdoor topics like Vanlife, gear, etc. The Outwild Membership is paid and gets you access to our entire online speaker series, a tshirt, gear discounts and more.   • Is the Outwild membership limited to a certain region in the country?

    • Our online hub community is filled with people from all over the United States and internationally. We have regional-specific forums so you can connect with like-minded individuals near you as well and you can filter to find members who are close to you.

      Our online membership has content that can be helpful for anyone, but, unfortunately, there's no time that works for every single country, so some people may find it challenging to attend live (at 5:30pm PST on the last Wednesday of every month). We do offer recordings to members or people who've signed up for specific events or for our annual membership!

  • How do I access my event?

    • Upon purchase of an Outwild offering, you will be emailed a confirmation receipt with a link. The link will populate your purchase into the Hub (this includes ALL offerings such as drop-in events, membership access, gear discounts, workbook, etc.). To find your offerings inside The Hub use the “Outwild Offerings” tab. If you do not click on the confirmation link, your purchase will not show up in the Hub. If you do not have a Hub account, you can make one for free and then re-click your confirmation link!

  • My event is not showing up in my Hub account. What do I do?

    • We're sorry to hear you're having difficulty with your account! Now that you've created a Mighty Networks account and logged in, our first suggestion is to go back to the confirmation email and re-click on the access link. If that does not work, please let us know and we'll troubleshoot together.

  • Where do I access my membership materials (discounts, workbook, etc)

    • Click this link here to access your membership materials. If you are still having issues, please email us at hello@outwild.co

  • How do I access the recording for an event?

    • When you purchased your membership, you should have received an confirmation email with multiple details about your membership. The link to all our event recordings is included in that email. If you didn’t get the email, please check your spam folder and if you still don’t have it please contact us at hello@outwild.co

  • What events do I get access to with my membership?

    • Outwild membership gets you access to all of our online events. Think of it as your all access pass. For a full list of events that are included, click here.

  • Can I access the event without joining the Hub?

    • You cannot access an event without joining the Hub, but trust us you wouldn’t want to;-) There’s no commitment to the Hub, it’s free and it’s a great place to meet other outdoor enthusiasts and join the ongoing conversation.

  • How do cancel my subscription?

    • If you’d like to cancel your subscription, please email us and let us know why and we’ll make sure you’re taken care of.

  • Who is the typical Outwild participant?

    • Outwild is made up of a diverse crowd! We welcome ALL humans and value diversity in outdoor skill level, age (our attendees range from 21-60+), race, ethnicity, national origin, range of abilities, sexual orientation, gender identity, financial means, education, religious beliefs, and political perspective.

  • Can I talk to someone about their experience at Outwild?

    • Yes! Feel free to reach out to one of our Outwild Ambassadors and check out their stories here.

  • Do I need to have any outdoor experience?

    • Nope! All skill levels are welcome at Outwild. Our outdoor add-ons are designed for people of all experience-levels as well, so have no fear if you’d like to try out something new!

  • What if I’d like to apply for a scholarship?

    • Please join our email list to be notified of upcoming scholarship opportunities.

  • Can I volunteer for Outwild events?

    • We do not currently have any volunteer positions available.

  • Can I become part of the Outwild event staff?

    • If you’re interested in working at an Outwild event as a staff, you can fill out this form.

  • What is your refund policy?

    • We are happy to allow ticket transfers, but we do not provide ticket refunds. If you need to transfer your ticket please reach out to hello@outwild.co
