Dreaming of Sunshine // A Vision Boarding Workshop to Make the Most of Your Summer

In this energizing workshop, Carina Hessmer will guide participants in a process of reflection and creative flow state to bring clarity and focus to their best version of this Summer.

Through an immersive process of collecting art, words and photos each participant will create their own virtual “vision board”.

The vision boarding process has become incredibly popular due to its ability to create a reminder and clarity around personal goals. It brings more awareness to available resources that were always there but somehow escaped notice as well as drawing attention to day to day decisions that can be made to shift towards better alignment with the best version of yourself.

About Carina

Carina is a globetrotting experience designer dedicated to creating high impact experiences within both the event and video production space. Drawing on her research on transformational experience design at Cal Poly University, she has applied her findings in a variety of fields including sustainability, executive trainings and her own personal life. Before founding her own company in 2018, she held the role of Director of Experience Design at San Francisco based firm, Entire Productions.In her role, she focused on a robust expansion of clients and services for companies such as Google, Microsoft and AAA, helping lay the groundwork to being recognized as one of Forbes fastest growing companies in 2018 & 2019. Simultaneously, she held a VP position on the board of the International Live Event Association (ILEA, previously ISES) helping lead its membership in continuous professional development and transition into the experience economy. In a quest to redefine the impact and profundity of her work (and recover from full burn out), she co-founded Adventure Architects alongside Noah Rainey (previously Director of Community at Summit), offering a variety of services dedicated to the facilitation of high functioning culture among corporate teams. Incorporating life design principles she now balances running her own company with dedicated time to wellness and adventures traveling the world alongside her boyfriend, Pablo Durana, frolicking and working, capturing compelling stories for companies such as National Geographic Society, Netflix and VICE.

Previously based in San Francisco, CA, Carina now resides in the beautiful mountains of South Lake Tahoe where she spends her free time skiing, dancing in her living room, hosting bonfires and playing.... I mean practicing her drone skills.
