Outwild community 30 day challenge
Question…
What do you think it takes to actually change your life?
Sometimes it’s radical upheaval, like a career change or moving to a new place, but more often than not, it comes down to our habits and daily life. No matter where we live or what we do, it’s the moments in between that determine our overall well-being. What did we prioritize before bedtime? Did we create space for ourselves during the day? How much exercise did we get?
At Outwild HQ, we believe that one of the best ways to create a new routine is *drumroll, please* a 30 day challenge.
Why the 30 day challenge?
It’s a limited period of time: We don’t have to do this FOREVER, we just have to try it out for 30 days. And by the end (if we like it), we’ll have established a new habit.
It’s easy to track: Pick a month, any month! For that time-period and that time-period only, you commit yourself to doing something new.
It’s fun to do with friends: Tell your coworkers, your friends, or your family about your challenge and get them onboard. For example, I’m doing, “No sugar November” and you should do it with me!
Example: Offline October:
For one month, you will employ a “no electronics for 20 minutes leading up to bedtime” rule. From Monday to Thursday, set a “bedtime alarm” on your phone. When it goes off, make sure your electronics are plugged in and put away. Instead, fill the time with a 5 minute journaling exercise.
Write down:
3 highlights from your day
2 things you’d like to accomplish tomorrow
1 thing you’re feeling grateful for
We love hearing 30 day challenge success (and failure!) stories. If you have one - feel free to shoot it our way through the contact page on our site.
Thanks for reading, everyone!
