In this workshop Pattie / Wyn will dive directly into education on tapping into your most authentic self, identifying our strengths, privileges and forms of capital as an ally and how to apply all that we are to outdoor advocacy. This workshop is specifically designed to meet each individual where they’re at and guide you to a better understanding of the work that’s available to you and only you as an advocate. The workshop will not only cover advocacy to nature herself but advocacy to each other as fellow outdoorists. Engagement in the conversation/class will be required for every attendee as this workshop is designed to be introspective and interactive. See you there!

Pattie Gonia (she/they) / Wyn Wiley (he/they) is an environmental advocate, outdoor community voice, and backpacking drag queen. Pattie founded the Pattie Gonia community which exists to uplift LGBTQ people and allies in the outdoors and to exist as a platform to give other voices and organizations all the shine in the world. The Pattie Gonia team carries out this mission by creating uplifting and ethical educational content, hosting community events, and fundraising for non profit organizations.
